Great information. I love the idea of keeping a notebook for jotting down ideas. Maybe if we are smart we will remember the lessons we learned today so as to avoid them in the future.

Just keeping notes about what you learn seems to help a great deal, even if you don't review your notes often. Something about writing them down drills the lesson into your thought process going forward.
Ugly notebooks are the best!
